The stadium was projected by the same architects who created Veltins Arena In Gelsenkirchen and AWD-Arena in Hanover.
The arena has an amber-colored elevation, which was inspired by those most desired Baltic Sea treasure – amber.

It is modern and multifunctional object, for example the roller skates track around the stadium is connected to the bike path leading to the sea shore. Because of the fact that the arena is close to the see, the constructors have taken into the account, that strong see storms my be dangerous for the object.
That is why, they have made it resistant to a with blowing even with the strength of 300 km/h.
PGE arena will host three of the group games and one of the quarterfinals.
